I viewed many hotels online before choosing and WOW! I am so glad I chose you! My Mother, who is 83, had never been to Cape Cod and she loved your inn. Everything was perfect - the beautiful and well-kept room, the view from the Centerville, the extra touches and the one stop planning for excursions and trips. As we were driving away, we were already planning and dreaming about visiting again next year...and you can believe we will be staying at the Anchor In again. Thanks and have a wonderful summer. A Valued Guest, May 2007 We just wanted to tell you that we had a wonderful stay at the Anchor In the weekend of June 1. The room was perfect and we really appreciated the refridgerator. We also loved the view from our deck of the boats in the harbor and the big tour boats going to the islands. We certainly will be recommending your lodging to all of our friends. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary. We had our honeymoon on the Cape also. We did visit the place where we stayed in 1967 but were very happy that we chose to stay at the Anchor In this time. valued guests June 2007 Dear all at Anchor In I should have sent this straight after our return to the UK, but I’m sure you know how it is with jet lag, getting back to work etc! We just wanted to thank you all for making our stay with you so pleasant. The room and the breakfasts were lovely but it was the attention and personal service, particularly by reception, that made it so memorable. We especially want to thank the ladies who went to so much trouble to help my husband when his back was so bad (I’m sure you’ll remember that!) We hope you have a great summer season-we’ll think of you. Twice each year members of Cape Cod Travel Guide editorial staff visit a select number of lodging and dining establishments under consideration for inclusion in the Cape Cod Travel Guide. The writers evaluate each establishment for exterior/interior maintenance, location, uniqueness, amenities, décor, ambiance and good value. Then they choose who will be reviewed in the upcoming edition. Hence our Editor's Choice - recommendations of restaurants and lodging accommodations that distinguish themselves. Inns In America Top Hosts Award.  We had a family get together and rented 5 rooms at the hotel for the weekend. The staff was polite and very helpful. The rooms were as lovely as the web pictures depict. They were extremely clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the views were wonderful. The breakfast was very good. My family had a wonderful time and I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.The location and the views are perfect. It lived up to all my expectations. A valued guest October 2006 In one word "Outstanding" I had a a hard time believing that no one had a complaint about the Anchor In but it lived up to its reputation. We spent a week in the new wing and it was excellent. The service was great, there wasn't anything that the innkeepers were not prepared to help with. The location is great and the view is even better.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return next year. A valued guest September 2006 Having just returned from a wonderful, relaxing trip to Cape Cod I wanted to write a review on the wonderful hotel we stayed at the Anchor In. Super clean, comfortable and has all the amenities you would like. Balcony view is great! Pool was super clean and never crowded. Breakfast was yummy & free. Great bagels, coffee and muffins. Excellent place to stay, close to all the major attractions in Hyannis and surrounding towns. All around a beautiful time on the Cape with so much to do and so little time!!! Stay at the Anchor In. I read the reviews and it was truly helpful so I thought I'd return the favor by letting you know about our stay. A Valued Guest August 2006 Anchor In gets a "10"- this is the way all places to stay should be. The rooms were beautiful and the entire hotel has got to be the cleanest and well kept place I've stayed in a very very long time. The owners should be very proud of their staff who do a fantastic job of keeping the grounds and buildings in beautiful condition as well as their friendly and helpful attitude. Anchor In made our 4 day stay in Hyannis a wonderful experience and we wished we had booked a few more days to stay & relax there. Very pretty grounds and great location - walking distance to the ferries and downtown Hyannis as well as easy acces to other areas on the Cape. We were EXTREMELY happy with our accommodations and the friendly, helpful, professional staff. Our room was "user friendly", uncluttered, clean and tastefully decorated. What you see on the website is what you get . . . . immaculately clean, well cared-for, great location with beautiful views. Very Nice! Incredible location, great views, fabulous staff. We stayed at the Anchor In based to a large degree on Trip Advisor recommendations and were not disappointed. Walk to dockside restaurants (Spanky's was our favorite) and to the ferry service to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. The staff is so friendly and helpful you think you are in Ireland. We stayed in the recently renovated east wing which was excellent. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The balcony was sunny from mid morning onwards and had nice views over the harbour. The staff were very helpful. Continental breakfast is included and was very good. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Main St and the ferry terminals. A valued guest June 2006
My family & I stayed at the Anchor In for 2 nights in May. The hotel was fabulous, the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were beautifully decorated and clean, everything was just perfect. A valued guest May 2006.
My whole extended family stayed at the Anchor In last weekend. We had searched extensively for somewhere not too far a drive for people living in NH, MA, NY and NJ. and used Trip Advisor reviews to rule many places out. We settled on Anchor In almost a year in advance, before they had even set their rates for this year, and everything worked out great. The rooms and views looked just like their pictures on the web. Our group stayed in 8 of the rennovated rooms in the East Wing.
